What I want to achieve

The above picture is the inner liner which is going to be made grom 3mm mdf, I am going to add acoustic foam around then encase it with 3mm mdf wood, this will eventually be mounted onto a desk.

Why 3d model it first

The reason why i have 3d modelled it even the frame so it will be easier to make templates to cut the wood with the correct dimensions, also it provides me how the final item will look once completed
